Charis Ching, is a Malaysian fashion designer and businesswoman from Malaysia. She starts fashion line business in 2010 and formed her own brand, Charis Ching in 2013 specialized in customisation of bridal and evening gown. Upon finishing her tertiary studies in fashion design, Charis Ching had an entrepreneurial mindset to have her own fashion label to realize her dream as a fashion designer. Business started before official studio opening was provided door-to-door custom-made service. Door-to door custom made service was provided before the official studio was being set up. Charis Ching started her business by creating a fashion blog in 2011 and utilizing social media platforms to gain her customer base and showcasing her expertise in fashion design. After a short span of 2 years, she has gained a strong customer base of clientele including local and overseas celebrities and had the financial capacity to officially opening her brick-and-mortar CHARIS CHING design studio based in Kajang in December 2013.
